If you have an NDIS plan, there’s a good chance it includes funding for psychology or counselling. Here’s a plain-language guide to how it works.
PSYCHOLOGY & COUNSELLING
NDIS Funding
Your NDIS plan can help pay for therapy.
Which NDIS categories cover therapy?
Psychology and counselling are most commonly funded under Improved Daily Living (Support Category 15). Some participants may also have funding under other categories — your support coordinator or plan manager will know for sure.
Self-managed, plan-managed, or agency-managed?
Nurah can work with all three plan types. If you’re agency-managed, we’re a registered NDIS provider. If you’re self or plan-managed, we can invoice directly or through your plan manager.
Not sure what your plan includes?
Check with your support coordinator or plan manager. Or get in touch with us — we’re happy to help you understand what your plan covers before you commit to anything.
Starting for the first time?
If you’re new to the NDIS and not sure where to begin, our team can walk you through the process step by step.
