We take a strengths-based approach to therapy and support. That means we start with what you can do — not what you can’t. We focus on where you want to go, and we work alongside you to get there.

Our Approach
How we work
Evidence-informed practice
Our clinicians draw on a range of evidence-informed approaches — including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, trauma-informed practice, and positive behaviour support. They choose what’s right for the person in front of them.
Collaborative and person-centred
We don’t make decisions for you. Your goals guide everything. We’ll always explain what we’re doing and why — and we’ll change course if something isn’t working.
Consistent and reliable
We know that consistency matters — especially for people who’ve been let down before. We’re committed to showing up, communicating clearly, and following through.
Governed and accountable
Nurah operates within the governance framework of CoAct, an NDIS-registered organisation. We meet all NDIS Practice Standards and maintain appropriate insurance, supervision, and professional registration.
